The 2019-2020 Black Squirrel Alabama Trail Run Series presented by Black Squirrel Events kicks off September 28th, 2019 at Noccalula Falls Park & Campground.

Course Description: Distance Options 15K or 8K on the Black Creek Trails. Great welcoming venue with beautiful scenery and views surrounded by the natural attractions of Historic Noccalula Falls Park. Single and double track trails that offer a challenging course to both novice and experienced trail runners. A course that opens enough for a large volume of entrants, without bottlenecks on the single track portions. Lots of elevation changes without being overly technical. A course set up for fast times at each distance. A great mixture of single track trails, small stream crossings, gravel paths and wooded bridges. This venue has plenty of parking for all participants and a great place for spectators to relax, view the race, and take in the scenery.

Awards: Medals and prizes will be awarded to our overall top 3 Male and Female finishers for each race along with top Male and Female Masters 40 +. We will also be handing out medals to our top 3 Male and Female finishers in each age group (14&U, 15-19, 20-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60-64, 65-69, 70&U). Age based on December 31, 2020 Birth date

Chip Timing: RFID chip timing from ChronoTrack by Race Krewe.

Packet pickup: The morning of the race starting at 6:30 a.m. at Noccalula Falls & Campground. Race starts at 8:00 a.m.

Entry Fees: Includes soft cotton race t-shirt – subject to availability for race day registrations. Preregistration 15K Trail Run $30 until July 31, 2019/ $35 August 1-31st/ $40 September 1-27/ Race Day Registration $45. Preregistration 8K Trail Run $25 until July 31, 2019/ $30 August 1-31st/ $35 September 1-27/ Race Day Registration $40.
