Kelly Kicking Cancer hosts their annual signature fund-raising event, the Shamrock Sprint 5K and Family Fun Day. It will be a festival atmosphere with live music by local bands, DJs and food & drink from area restaurants. Last year's event raised over $27,000 with over 300 runners, walkers and families.

The event starts at 7am at Covington Trailhead Museum and Visitors Center. Admission: Pre-registered youth (age 12 and under) is $10 and all entrants age 13 and over is $30 or $25 race only/no T-Shirt. Dri-Fit T-Shirt option is available for a small additional cost. Race day registration cost is $15 for youth, $35 for entrants 13 and over

Susie O'Mahoney, chairman of the board, stated "Last year's event was absolutely incredible… I was amazed at the turnout. We are continuing to honor Kelly's memory and we are creating a lasting legacy in her name by finding research to eradicate brain cancer."
