This years race will be to fundraise monies to put in ADA swings in city parks in Shelby County, AL that don't already have them. In years past we have raised monies for special needs/medically challenged children in Shelby County. 

We will be starting with Columbiana's city park across from Elvin Hill Elementary School and will branch out from there to other city parks in Shelby County, AL.

5k and 1 mile both start and finish at First Baptist Church of Columbiana. The race is the morning of Liberty Day so most roads will be closed, so make plans accordingly. Address is 208 N Main Street, Columbiana, AL 35051.

The surface of the race is pavement.

Age Brackets for 5K: 10 & under, 15-19, 20-24, 25-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60 & up (Males and Females will have separate groups)

Awards are given to 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place to each age group. As well as Overall male & female time. $50 will be given to Overall Male and Overall Female finishers.
